In the San Joaquin Valley, Brahma Bull was the first and only Indian restaurant specializing in Northern and Southern Indian cuisine. Right now, this is the only Indian restaurant that makes authentic South Indian cuisine - and nothing out of a gits package! Everything you taste is fresh and in homemade style like our great grandmothers used to make in our village near Ongole. They believed that we need a balanced diet to work hard on the farm. They learned from the Brahma Bulls. The name Brahma Bull originated from my hometown Ongole, India, where it is called the "Ongole Bull."
Our dishes are full of Indian spices and herbs such as turmeric, cumin, ginger, cloves, cardamom, etc. but nothing that will give you heartburn or a bad stomach (as the joke goes with Indian food). Just be sure to tell us how you like it. We can make anything mild or extra spicy. We use only pure unsaturated vegetable oils and use as little oil necessary to cook our dishes. We have many vegetarian, vegan, and omnivore recipes and can customize anything to your liking with advance notice.
